Re-purposing of reclaimed Zirconium MaterialsZIRCOMET is working towards developing a greater awareness of secondary zirconium containing materials available in the market. Unlike metal re-cycling, the re-use of ceramic or refractory materials is often much harder due to the difficulty in breaking down material to a useable form. However, there is far greater scope to re-purpose zirconia materials as the waste product from one industry could be a valueble raw material in another. We have set up a Reclaimed Materials section on our website where we will be promoting materials which are currently available. Please contact us if you think any of the materials listed could be useable in your process. We will be happy to supply samples for testing. Also if you have a waste product containing Zr units then please let us know, we may be able to generate some value for you and at the same time work towards improving the level of recycling in our industries.
