Reclaimed MaterialsMany metals have an established recycling sector due to the relative ease of remelting. Ceramic and refractory materials, which make up a large part of the application of zirconium as an oxide, are very underdeveloped due to it being considerably harder to break materials down, and in many cases impossible to return them to their original form. There is however scope to use waste product from one industry as a raw material in another. This can be achieved when the waste product is pure relative to alternative primary materials and where limited reprocessing is needed. One company's waste can be another company's valuable raw material. If you have a waste product that contains Zr units please contact us, we may be able to extract some value as well as work towards developing an industry with greater scope to re-purpose materials.
